I just want to thank Ms.Ainsworth for all the joy she brought to our english class. She always came in with a smile on her face ( unless we made her mad) and was always ready to teach us. I also thank her for dealing with our chaos class because i don’t think most student teachers would be able to do that. So thank you for teaching us Ms. Ainsworth and all the joy you brought to us, we will miss you!
The person I admire is my dad. He has been through so much during his child hood. He always wanted to be succesful in his life which pushed him to getting a scholarship at Howard University. He now works at state farm and is working his way up. The thing I love about him is, if he wants to do something he will do anything in his power to do it. That why I admire him so much.

My Ekpharasis
Noticing that the other team is warming up for the big game but, you notice that the other team is doing something completely different. The whole team is sitting on one knee in the middle of the court with their heads bow down. It’s not the fact that their not warming up that caught my attention, it’s the fact that they are praying before the game.

That moment when you’re standing there watching the clock go down in slow motion. Focused on what kind of shot you want to hit for the game winning shot. As you sit there looking at the clock going down 10..9..8..7..6..5..4.. I start my move trying to get by the defender and getting off a perfect shot. That moment when you just stand there and watch the ball fly in the air, my heart is racing hoping it goes in. I look back at the clock and see if i got it off in time. 3..2..1.. All I see is the net flying upwards in the hoop and the crowd rushing on the the court towards me for the game winning shot. That’s my moment.
